LEGAL ADVOCACY
Legal advocates work with clients of all New Beginnings programs as needed, providing a variety of services to women. It is important to note, however, that legal advocates are not attorneys and cannot provide legal advice. We are proud to partner with local attorneys to bring clients the Family Law Legal Clinic.
New Beginnings' Legal Advocates can help victims of domestic violence with the following legal issues:
- Washington State Address Confidentiality Program
- Immigration
- Dependency
- Name and Social Security number changes
- Protection Orders
- Anti-Harassment Orders
- Custody/Visitation/Parenting Plans
- Dissolution
- Paternity
- Other legal resources
- Family Law Legal Clinic
