COMMUNITY ADVOCACY PROGRAM (CAP)

The Community Advocacy Program (CAP) serves people who are still with a violent partner, are recently seperated, or have been out of the abusive relationship for some time. CAP delivers core services in various locations in Seattle and Shoreline, and also provides motel vouchers for those in immediate need of refuge when our emergency shelter is full.

    CAP services include:

  • Individual advocacy
  • Weekly confidential support groups in Seattle and Shoreline neighborhoods
  • Groups for children who have witnessed domestic violence
  • Support and advocacy for children
  • Outside referrals for counseling, housing, day care, and local community resources
  • Legal advocacy
  • Parenting classes
