Welcome. New Beginnings’ mission is to provide shelter, advocacy and support for battered women and their children; and to change attitudes and social institutions that foster and perpetuate violence.
New Beginnings provides services to those whose lives have been affected by domestic violence – physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. Some who use our services are in physical danger. Others are living with controlling partners in relationships that are emotionally abusive. Explore our site to learn how to get help, how to get involved, how to donate and how to learn more about domestic violence in our community.
Call us now if you or someone you know needs our help.
Join us for our Annual Gala & Auction on Saturday, May 19! Featuring gourmet food, live auction bidding, the Golden Raffle Ticket and Dessert Dash. Visit the Gala site to purchase tickets and for more details.
"Emma grew up in an abusive family and was married to a violent man for ten years. When she was finally able to leave she found it difficult to disengage emotionally from her family. With help from New Beginnings' advocates she developed skills to promote healthy relationships, and learned how to create and maintain distance from people who threatened her." I am privileged to introduce you to New Beginnings' new Executive Director — Susan Segall. Throughout the search process Susan emerged as the clear choice to lead the agency forward.
